Cavanna Homes backs community action fund in Bude
Cavanna Homes is proud to be supporting the Bude-Stratton Social Action Fund, a crowdfunded initiative formed to help people dealing with the indirect impacts of Covid-19.
The Bude-Stratton Social Action Fund is a partnership formed by Bude Coastal Community Team, Neetside Community centre and Christians Together in Bude & Stratton, with support from Bude-Stratton Town Council to help people whose livelihoods and mental health have been impacted as a result of the pandemic.
Fundraising, including a Crowdfunder campaign, has raised over £5,700 to date, with every penny being distributed in the form of grants to organisations providing vital support for people affected by food poverty, loneliness, isolation, mental health and other issues in and around Bude.
The Bude-Stratton Social Action Fund reached out to Cavanna Homes, who are building a new community of family homes at Bellevue in Stratton, for their support.
Chris Hodder, Sales Advisor at Bellevue said: “When we were contacted about the vital work the Social Action Fund is doing to support organisations who are the lifeline to many people and communities in Bude, we jumped at the chance to show to our support.
“It’s inspiring to see the community coming together to support one another during what has been a very challenging time for so many. We hope that our contribution will help to make a difference and provide a helping hand to those who need it.”
