Megan and Tom move back home to Bude with Cavanna Homes
Three years after buying their first Cavanna home in Holsworthy, Tom and Megan Hall and their Brittany Spaniel Archie are relocating to their second Cavanna property, back in their hometown of Bude.
“We always knew we wanted to move back to this beautiful town we both grew up in”, said Megan. “Tom plays cricket and hockey for Bude and we both work here, so it was a given for us.”
“We bought our first two-bedroom Constable home at Cavanna’s Holsworthy development so we could get onto the property ladder, but when we found out Cavanna were building new homes in Stratton, we were very excited”, said Megan.
Immediately after driving past the “land acquired” sign at our Bellevue development, the couple went straight to the website to register their interest and when they phoned the Sales Advisor, they were met with a familiar voice.
“We were thrilled to find out Chris Hodder was the Sales Advisor for Bellevue, as he sold our house to us at Holsworthy!” said Megan.
“As soon as the site plan and house types were released, we phoned Chris and reserved our two-bedroom Rippon home before the Marketing Suite was even open for visitors.
“We found buying off-plan very easy with Chris as he provided lots of information and answered all our questions. We completely trust Cavanna’s build quality, so when it came to reserving it was a very easy yes for us”, added Tom.
Megan explained: “Our first Cavanna home was a two-bedroom property and we found it to be very spacious and love that both bedrooms have an en-suite, so we went for the same layout at Bellevue. It’s perfect for us and with the kitchen leading onto the back garden for Archie, we don’t have to worry about muddy pawprints through the living room.
“The house is also south-facing, so we’re looking forward to sunny evenings in our new garden.
“We regularly drive past the development, so it’s fantastic to see the progress. We’ll hopefully be moving into our new home in early September this year, we can’t wait!
“The fact we get to choose our fixtures and fittings, and upgrade them to a higher specification to make the house our own attracted us to getting another new build, and everything is ready for you to move in and live-in straightaway. We’re planning to visit the show home to see how the designs, décor and fittings have been enhanced since we bought our Cavanna home three years ago”.
Two show homes; a three-bedroom Steeperton, and a four-bedroom Belstone with a conservatory are now open for prospective buyers to step inside and explore.
“We’re so glad we’ve been able to buy another Cavanna home in our hometown, we love the way the houses are built and we can’t wait to see ours! Chris has been excellent throughout the buying process with both houses and always keeps us updated and makes us feel involved. It’s also reassuring to know that you have warranties to cover fixtures and fittings, plus the NHBC warranty that covers the building, so should anything happen, there would be no unexpected expense”, said Tom.
