Proud to support ‘pawsome’ canine fundraising trail around Exeter
A very special canine is joining our team as part of a fundraising event held in Exeter in aid of a leading Westcountry animal sanctuary.
We’re proud to be sponsoring Blake, one of 20 unique dog sculptures that make up the Ferne Animal Sanctuary’s ‘Paws Around Exeter Trail’, which runs until August.
Residents and visitors alike are being encouraged to track down all the 5ft dogs using a trail map which can be picked up at our Marketing Suites at Equinox and Cavanna @ Elm Park in Exeter, as well as Oak Mount in Hemyock.
Karen Croker, Development Manager said: “We are delighted to be able to support a wonderfully innovative and interactive way to raise funds for the Ferne Animal Sanctuary.
“It’s something the whole family can get involved in and it’s also a fantastic way to showcase Exeter as a great place to live and work.”
We’ve also donated a luxury hamper, one of a number of prizes that are up for grabs in a photography competition held as part of the trail event.
Katie Belcher, Digital Fundraiser at Ferne Animal Sanctuary said: “The trail is designed to raise awareness and understanding around responsible pet ownership and helps to promote Exeter as a dog friendly city.
“Without the support of our sponsors this event wouldn’t be possible, and we’re hugely thankful to Cavanna Homes for their involvement. We hope to raise essential funds to support the incredible work carried out by our charity to care and rehome abandoned animals.”
