New homes in Barnstaple, North Devon

Work will be commencing in Autumn/Winter 2024 on 77 1 to 4-bedroom homes in Bickington, North Devon.

A total of 23 properties will be allocated as affordable housing for local people and will be managed by an affordable housing provider.

The new homes will be located off Bickington Road and surrounded by over two acres of open green space, retained hedgerow and trees, plus a new fruit orchard.

New footpaths will link the scheme to existing pedestrian and cycle routes, including the popular Tarka Trail leading north to Barnstaple, or west towards Westward Ho! and the coast.

Each property will be fitted with an air source heat pump which provides a greener alternative to gas heating, plus electric vehicle charging points.

A large proportion of homes are south-facing and will be installed with solar panels to generate electricity. We anticipate our Marketing Suite and Show Home will be open in Autumn 2025.

To reflect the local character of Bickington, the homes will be finished in coloured render and brick features.
